reset service d message?

reset service d message?
I have a message that says Service D has been passed by 262 miles.
How do I get rid of this message.
This is for a 2004 E500
Have tried to do it from reading the operators manual but just cant get it to reflect what the pictures in the manual show.
There is no info on how to reset after passing the milage point.
can anyone help?

FSS system snafoo
I did the required service my self but when I tried to configure it as completed the FSS system has reset to start the service D countdown all over again.
Now what Can I do to get it at thr right interval?
