Digital tv-tuner to command??
I have year 2003 W211 with Command APS. I live in Finland so I think my command is euro-spec model. I tried to install aftermarket digital tv-tuner for it but it seems that it doesn't work correctly. First I installed this kind of adapter to the back of headunit http://www.ampire.de/PDF/IF-MBNTG2AVDC.pdf ..I installed fakra-cable to it's connection and I took fibre out cable from HU and replaced it with cable which goes to box and another cable from box goes to cable which was removed from HU. I didn't have analog tv-tuner at my car so I don't have TV selection in my HU and I can't find tv-tuner from MOST either. Should I update my command software to get this feature on or is there some other mistake in my connections?

Did you have your Comand/MOST ring coded for "TV tuner present"? From the installation instructions it looks like this device emulates the OEM TV tuner as seen from Comand.

From where this "tv-tuner present" can be done? I think this is just what has to be done to get this system work. I have understand also that this device emulates original tv-tuner.

Anyone with Star should be able to do it. An MB workshop for sure but some independent workshops with Star can also do it.

I visited one independent workshop yesterday, but this visit was no success. They have had Star for very short time and they didn't have experience how to re-operate command-system.
We found open MOST slots from Star, but didn't figure out how we should open em. There was open slots from 6 to 14. What slot has to be opened for my tuner, if my box input is installed to wire from headunits output and box output is connected to former cable from headunit output.
Is there anything else what has to be done after this MOST slot opening?
