My wifes c240 4-matic is incredible in the snow even with seventeen in amg wheels but the key here is sumitomo htr all seasons I have had them on three cars now. A little noisy when cold after that silent....

No problem. Orange triangle warning light is on more or less permanently and once I went sideways at speed (tight corner that was a bit more slippery than I thought) but it gripped again just before I really went into the path of that truck coming the other way.
No I do not have winter tyres, though I probably should

My E320 was great - I'm in the office today and barely a handful of people showed up! The back roads here in the Boston area were pretty bad this morning, but the winter mode and traction control were great - just a little slipping and sliding on the hills - I was thrilled with the way it handled!
