Just like to share, in case you do need a cargo net.
Long story short, Ford Escape's (or Santa Fe ) cargo net will fit W211 perfectly, measure at 26" x 31" with bungie nylon and hooks for only $10 from... flea bay.
Just search on "Ford Escape Cargo net". "Santa Fe Cargo net"

Edit: This may only fit pre-facelift model, where there are 4 stainless rings in your trunk.

I took my pre face lift 2004 floor cargo net with me into my 2007 Face Lift car. It fit perfectly. So the size & clip locations had to be the same.

There are no "Stainless Rings' in the trunk of the 211, so I guess the hooks on the Ford's cargo net are useless and you are slipping the cord around the 4 nylon anchor guides on the 211's floor.
