Musty odor from AC
Repeated musty odor from AC vents whether or not dealer already cleaned system request activation of the dry blow feature. This feature will run the AC blower motor for 30 minutes after locking the vehicle. The dry blow feature is set to inactive by the factory and will require a password from MBUSA Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to activate.
Available for 204 built as of 6/08; 211 & 219 as of 6/07; 216 & 221 as of 6/09; 164, X164 & 251 after 1/06.
207 & 212 have the feature and it is not available on models 171, 203, 230, or 463.
DTB S-B-83.30/74p covers all model 164, 171, 203, 204, 209, 211, 215, 216, 219, 220, 221, 230 and 251 vehicles under initial factory or extended warranty for cleaning inclusive of changing cabin filter(s).
