A little off the topic, I want to get my calipers done to color match the car (which is Black) but I want the Mercedes Benz wording to still be visible in white.
Now, on painting vs powder coat which would be best?
On the Mercedes print, one shop told me they were just stickers and he could get them from Mercedes after he paints the calipers. I am not so sure about that.

help needed
Hi there, we would all love ubber brakes, or at least smart looking calipers.
can we put this to bed with a list of what calipers work with what models,
maybe a link to the high temp stickers?
Personally i just want my brakes to work properly. and the problems i have at the moment are...
1. getting the right pads for a 98 E300TD. to work with 300mm rotors.
2. making the caliper work. Its a little sticky so one pad binds heating the rotor.
personally i could happily buy E500 calipers and pads if they will fit.

2009 E350 Blk w/ AMG Pkg& 2002 ML500 Slvr w/ Sport Package
I BET you bought the AMG decal and the "63" to replace your 350, huh?
I saw something really funny the other day. This moron-poser was driving a normal Carrera with an aero kit. The guy added the "GT3" next to the Carrera in the back. Like anybody would "notice!"
You are like that guy. Driving with normal Benz brakes and everybody is going to glance at your brakes, and look at you, look at their friends and laugh at the sametime.
YOU GOT TO ME KIDDING ME!
Why in the HELL did you buy a Mercedes when you could've bought a Toyota and put the Silver Star on it????
