Airmatic DC and stuff
Guys, I was just wondering. How does the Airmatic DC work and what exactly does it do?
I mean.. the "literature" mentions there are "4 modes" for the suspension yet.. three damping settings (comfort, sport1 and 2). I know the car is supposed to prevent body roll in certain conditions.. how does this change or not based on the setting I select?
I usually leave it Comfort for taxi-ing my wife and son around.. but when alone.. I usually use Sport 1 and sometimes Sport2.. although Sport2 is pretty harsh.
Anyways.. just wondering if anyone knew how the setup works?
Thanks
Pete

Nitro,
The MBUSA site does a reasonable job at explaining this feature.
go to;
http://www.mbusa.com/brand/container...odelCode=E500W
choose the "Feature" pull down menu and click on "Explore the all new E-Class". Select "Exhilerating" and "Airmatic Dual Control Suspension" and activate "See it in Action".
Hope that this helps.
