Speed Detector
Do anybody have a Electronic Speed Detector seamlessly installed in their 2009 e350? I am sure the year doesn't matter too much.

Do you mean radar detector? I have a K40 Calibre front and rear radar detector with laser jammer. I've very happy with it. There are two small blue LEDs in the dash that light up to let you know whether the radar is from the front or the rear. There is also a wireless remote the size of a key fob that I keep in the console that controls the unit. Everything else is hidden. Very nice.

I'm using a Valentine One. The best thing ever since sliced bread out there. Even if you are not speeding. It is so much fun to see way ahead where these blood suckers are. And if you wanna speed it helps as well. I have many interesting stories to tell about me, my car and others who got busted b/c of passing me toooooo fast when I was slowing down b/c I knew there will be a radar gun out there

Abe,
I don't have it hard wired yet. I built a cable that I will use as soon as I have found a connection within the rear view mirror. The V1 is the best thing ever out there. Not even the Escorts can reach his capabilities.
One of the best results I can tell you was on the I-15 to Vegas. Drove 100 mph and the V1 started beeping... I continued to drive 100 mph until I had a stronger signal. My co-pilot started taking the time and we came up with 16 seconds at 100 mph and about 14 more seconds with the stronger signal before we passed the cop at about 70 mph.
So all in all we were more than 1 mile away from the cop car which was behind a big bolder. So you can see he is a true radar detector which gives you plenty of time to react and to slow down.

My friend has Beltronics STi jammed between his passenger side headrest and seat, wired to the rear cig-lighter. Too easy to pop out and hide beneath the passenger seat with one hand if stopped by those who protect & serve. Works even when suddenly stopped by unmarked cruisers.

I see 3 to 5 cars daily running red lights here in San Diego and many of my friends see it the same way - this becomes the new hobby of unsafe drivers and was a witness of 4 bad crashes b/c of dumb asses thinking they can run them.
I like red light cameras and hope they have them at any intersection one day just to make this a safer driving.
But I have something against cops hiding somewhere just to rip us off and the V1 is the perfect counter-weapon for this.
