When can I realistically expect Post-Facelift W211 prices to fall off a cliff?

Based off of historic trends with a new model releases and the unique factor that the latest iteration's base price is 4-6K less than the 09's, can anyone predict when pricing on the used 211's will really make them a bargain? I've wanted a diesel 211 for years, but am now holding out for the post facelift 2007 bluetec, however I've noticed they're still selling in the low 30s. I remember a couple of years after the 211 came out, you could find 20K late-model loaded E430s/320s all day long, so I'm wondering if this trend will hold true in the coming months.
While the 212 has officially been out for a month or so, I don't think the psychological factors of a new version weighing in on prospective buyer's minds will take full effect until you're seeing them around on street corners on a regular basis.
Anyone care to guess when this magical time may arrive when I can finally buy a 2007 Bluetec for 20 grand?
