Radiator/water pump/ thermostat???

Hello everybody,
Is anybody with the 2004 E500 M113.967 engine who had similar problem or have read about this before? I could not find too much about.
The temp on the engine go up to 100C and stop, when I drive on the freeway it comes 85-90, when I drive in the city or I tried to live the car working on "P" for about 10 min it stay on 100C. The fan does not start working harder(faster), I think it should. And the engine work a little bit rough.
Is therre any way I can check for something?
Will appreciate any help
Thank you!

I live in the south and have a 3.2 V-6 so this is not apples to apples but ours mimics your data pretty closely. The 100 c mark appears to be the upper limit for normal engine temp. I believe the motor shuts down during extreme overheating (somewhwere near 240 f .) I would not worry. I have a bike that regularly runs 220 f and sometimes higher and it has never given any engine problems. If that $6.25 / qt synthetic cannot handle 212 f, we are all being grossly overcharged. As for the fans, the only time mine go into helicopter mode is during air conditioning "auto" when the system goes into full attack mode.

Same here. You would have more of a problem when driving on the highway if anything failed - but temp goes down. It also happened on my bro's CLK. I pretty sure it's normal.

Thank you,
Yes, with the AC "Auto" seems to me it's better, I dont drive it too much thees days, I'll check more careful on Saturday.
You right on the freeway it's better, the wind is blowing harder.
A mounth ago I was driving one day in the desert, was around 110F the Temp was no higher than 85C, but the AC was on "Auto" and the fan was blowing hard.
I'll see what I can do.
Any opinion is welcome
Thank you

Honda
If you are talking about the fan, inside the car, look for a blown fuse. The blower motor relay could be mounted near the blower motor, look for the lables to guide you to it.If the relay, and the fan are fine, then replace the blower motor. I hope it will be useful.
