Tire pressure sending units - help needed
I need to replace at least one and maybe three of the tire pressure wheel senders on my 04 E320 wagon (build date 1/04)(this is the old style system that reads out the pressure for each wheel). I have been told that the sensors have batteries that cannot be replaced and have useful life of 5 years. I had one replaced at the dealer a few months ago at cost of several hundred $$. Now it looks like there are three more to go. The site below sells sensors, but I don't know the mhz to order, nor do I have a MB part number. Anyone have either of these data points? Thanks.

When an antenna or sensor problem is suspected, remount wheel to different location, reactivate (using steering wheel buttons) and see if problem moves.
Replacement: remove tire, replace sensor, and reactivate. I suggest road force balancing all wheels/tires afterward.
MBUSA = 315 MHZ
Tire pressure control sensor current part #0025407917 (for comparison shopping, parts.com $96.90)
