19s to 20s

I have a set of 19s and 20s that I change once in a while and I was wondering if changing rim sizes affects alignment. If so does that mean I always have to have my wheels aligned after changing to prevent tire wear...thanks guys

I assume you're also changing tire sizes to maintain the correct ratios?

Trust me, its not as obvious as it may seem. I've seen posts in the w211 forum ALONE of people buying tires/wheels and ending up with screwed up ratios.

a lot of people don't understand the concept but want to get bigger wheels, etc.

you should be fine without getting a alignment. after lowering my car i had the alignment done with the stock 16s and switched to the 20s later.
