W211 AC Issues and Questions
W211 AC Issues and Questions
Hello, new to the forum but long time reader and benefactor from you knowledge. My "03 E320 A/C stopped functioning while driving. The A/C OFF light will flicker but will not go off. It appears as though my compressor clutch is engaged but am I correct to assume that this type is always "engaged" at least from looking at the compressor from the hood?
Also I have read many ways to access CC fault codes for earlier version (pre 2002) MB's but nothing for my year since I do not have an EC light or an AC display screen like earlier versions. Is there a way to access codes and values for a W211? Last question is when I am finished with repair do the fault codes have to be reset or erased in order for the A/C to resume function? Thank You in advance.
