I haven't driven the car in a few days. This evening I went to a store five minutes away. The radio was left on when I shut the car off to go in. After a couple of minutes I got back in the car, started it up and the radio didn't come on as it normally would. I pressed the power button a few times and the MB logo appeared and the radio was operational.
I searched the forum and most of the problems were the radio shutting off and coming back on after extended periods of driving because of the AGW overheating. The car was only turned on ten minutes before this, so I don't think it was an overheating issue.
Is this possibly a software issue? Would a problem like this be covered by CPO?

ive had the same problem, ive read after a while it overheats. then my problem went from turning off after an hour drive from nyc to jersey to 5min of driving. when i took it to the dealership they replace the fiberoptic gateway i believe for the radio/communication port
Is the fiber optic gateway the same part as the audio gateway?
