Bent Wheels
Well that 'little' mistake cost me much more than money. I found a fairly renowned place in Elkrdige, MD that straightens wheels for all sorts of cars. It is called Ye Olde Wheel Shop. They have an 80 year history of service!
I drove there, and got stuck in traffic for three and a half hours on the way because of the weather. They charged me $115 per rim because ALL of my rims were bent, if you can believe it. I actually saw the damage with my own eyes. Oh well, better than 4 grand for a new set of AMG rims and performance tires. Car now rides like a dream.
Just thought I would pass this along because this is going to be a prevalent problem on the East Coast this winter (I have never seen the pot hole problem get this bad in the DC area)--and this shop is one of only a couple that does excellent work for people from all over the country. I literally saw 300+ rims there. The proprietor mentioned he has people driving from New Jersey to get work done. The only bad thing is that they are always backlogged. They take about two weeks to do your rims when you mail them in.
