Purchasing new tires for my 2005 E320 4Matic
All:
During my visit last week (Service D) to our MB Dealership at Iowa City, they found the tread depths of my 2005 E320 4Matic tires (225/55 R 16 95 H CH95) varying from 3-4 mm and therefore, suggested replacing all four tires. They quoted me $960, including installation charges. Is this a reasonable price or am I getting ripped off? If I go elsewhere -- say, buy tires from Tirerack and then get them installed in an autoshop -- will this work for my E320? BTW, I currently have ContiTouringContact (Continental; original from Germany), which are all-season tires. What are the best replacement tires?
