Windshield Washer Replacement Question

I have a 2004 W211. It has the stock "two stream" windshield washer nozzles on the hood. I don't like the way they work. I've noticed that newer MB's have a broad spray nozzle. Does anyone know if any of the 2005-2009 W211's have this kind of washer nozzle? If so, is it interchangeable?
Thanks,
Kirk

The nozzle openings get clogged up with residue (calcified minerals, etc.) over the years. You can use a fine point needle to clean the nozzles. When I cleaned out the nozzles on my 03 E500, the spray pattern was much more broad with excellent coverage. You can also adjust each nozzle up, down, left and right to fine tune the pattern and avoid overshoot (while you have the needle inserted into the nozzle, you can "steer" the nozzle position). I have done this many times over the years with all of my vehicles.

Just remember to aim them almost a couple of inches higher than you would ideally want the strike to land because when you are moving at speed, wind will keep the spray lower down on the window than you aimed them , and the fluid stream will creep up the glass, pushed up the glass by the wind.
