2004 E55 ."stop, Car too low"
Hi guys
Can anyone help?
I gotta 2004 model E55 AMG, The multipurpose display says, ', STOP, CAR TOO LOW! toke to the dealer, coma back with right front struts leaking, need to replace paris, cost me more then eight grand to replace them, I know MB parts are expensive, specialty AMG's one, Is there any one had this kind of experience before? or Am i been rip off?

I did not check if the AMG struts are different and if Arnott supplies those.
Search for Airmatic threads and you can find a lot of posts, although mostly concerning 2003 MY.

thx for the link, but it Not for vehicles with 4MATIC, E55, or E63. more than likely the AMG struts are different!!!

Which dealer did u go ??? they just try to rip you off. Independent shop charge about $2500 and dealer should charge around $3500 to $4000 max. THe part is about $1000 + labor = $2k maybe ??

I just had it done at mb dealer in brooklyn it was 950 part 447 labor now right side bad have to bring it in again 2 years cls 55 27,000 in repairs aftermarket warranty coverd 24000 of it who hoo...oooo and counting this repair will be 1500 more covered..they hate me..I finally signed a good contract.I paid 2700 full with nav for 4 years or 40000 miles.

THe name dont remember .The number for the company not broker is 8778383322 .Just got the car back again this time trans work..new seat cause of heat coils,,and other work 9 ooo dollars more all cover i payed 100 deductable
