Rims touch up
Hello All.
I need to touch up rims on my car for lease return.
The car is on the picture with my signature and it's original rims.
Have anybody done it ? What have you used ?
Have you used or known following product and if yes - is it good ?

Thanks.

Do you have any curb rash on them? If not and they are just dirty, just use the power ball and wheel cleaner. Otherwise there are some wheel shops that can fix scrathes. You live in the east coast, I can't recommend any. But if you were here in CA my buddy owns a shop that fixes rims.

It's only scrathes, but I'm afraid MB will charge me for them. I'm looking for paint, that I can touch up those things and return the car to the dealer. Even though I'll get new one from them - sometimes they may give you headache after the car returned and they found something.
P.S. I went to our local RS Strauss store and asked the guy - he says MB dealer should have some touch up thing to do it. My next stop will be Manhattan MB dealership.

I do not know about your specific rims but I have done some TU on the older 10 spoke stock rims. I got the info from someone on this forum that copied a bimmer forum. They say that all German mfg use the same wheel paint. It is called Wurth Silver wheel paint. They have a US toll free number 1-800-987-8487 also www.wurthusa.com
I can say that the paint is a good (not perfect) match, however on my rims the 1/2 inch edge that meets the tire bead (and the one that catches the curb rash) is polished aluminum. Deep scratches are not easily polished out. Filling with Bondo and painting changes the appearance sligtly. Expect to pay $100 / wheel for professional help. Good Luck.

Mercedes is quite liberal for minor scratches on lease returns. If I recall from my last lease return, if the damage is smaller than the size of a credit card, there was no charge.

Hi All.
Appreciate for your suggestions.
Yesterday I went to MB dealership and asked them - they say no need to worry about scratches, MB does not care about it when you get new car from them.
Thanks everybody.
