2 issues... Ticking and Static
1. There is a soft ticking sound under acceleration that pretty much disappears when you let off the throttle. Step on the gas again and tick, tick, tick... the ticks increase in speed and repetition as the revs increase. It sounds like a motor mount issue. I took the car in for the techs to "take a listen". They heard the sound, and advised to keep on driving to allow more miles for the "break in" period.
All you motor mount folks... has this been your experience? I don't think this sound is going anywhere, and it sure is annoying.
2. Big-time static while playing a CD. The other night, I'm cruising to a nice CD and WHAMMO! Loud mother static from what seemed like all speakers... but I could still hear the CD playing in the background. I hit mute, and all was quiet. Un-mute and all the noise was back again. I did the 'ole Fonzie turn it off and on again thing and all was well.
THEN, it happened again. This time MUTE would not make any static go away and then the music quit playing all together with the audio display reading "Unable to establish audio connection". Does this sound like a bad rear window GPS antenna, bad changer, overheating gateway module, or etc...???
Hmmm... pretty sad for a $60K car.
I have searched the archives on both problems, and would appreciate your comments and input.
Thanks!

Your engine ticking sound is exactly what I experienced with the motor mount problem. I had about 400 miles and took in to the dealer. They test drove it, confirmed the problem, but had to order the parts. After they were installed, that noise disappeared. I don't think waiting will make the problem go away.
No problems so far with my HK system.
Good luck with the motor mounts.
mbtech208, do you have a TSB number on the "overheating gateway module"?
The tick, tick, ticking is driving me nuts, nuts, NUTSO!!!
But at least I can still make people in my rearview disappear with a half-hearted drop of the right foot...
