sport suspension question

sport suspension question
I am curious about my cars sport suspension. Only once (that I know of) the car settled (lowered) after parking, somtimes it even raises after parking (car never in the raised mode).
I find it strange because a major reason the car caught my eye initially was the lowered "look", but I have only one time (since buying the car) seen the car in the lowered position.
Any ideas?

Do you have Airmatic DualControl Suspension option?
Simple test do check how height changes is to park on level location (maybe garage) and turn on headlights to gain reference point on wall in front of car with light beam. I can defenitely see the car rise and lower as I toggle that function.

The car does have the sport suspension feature, so I know it can be raised, etc.
My question is that it seems to mostly be high, even when the "raise car" button is not pushed, and it even raises itself while parked, but only twice now that I know of, it lowered itself while parked. Just this morning when I opened the door it lowered a bit.
