Tire pressure monitor

Forgive the repeat on this topic (I've seen the prior posts) but for those who ordered the tire pressure monitor would you mind giving an updated report on your experience with it? Any problems with false or frequent alerts about low pressure, etc.? Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the Smart tire system or those little caps?

The caps I hear are crap - unreliable and not too not accurate.

The smart tire system I have on my Porsche and with 315/25-19 rear tires I think it is crucial. I like the system a lot and would recommend it to everyone and anyone.

I've only had my car for a week and only 375 miles, but all is ok to date.

I had 1 glitch with a low tire warning that was false.. It fixed itself when the car was turned off and back on. No troubles since.
