Buzzing noise in dashboard

In my '04 E500, without a HK stereo, standard 6-disc changer w. Comand, recently a sort of buzzing / humming noise comes out of the big triangular vent opening on top of the dashboard. It sounds like a blown speaker, but it disappears or gets louder, depending on the settings of the heater / AC controls.
Also when I start the car in the morning out of that same area I hear sometimes a light creaking (adjusting the doors in the heater system), that is sometimes followed by a rather loud single pop. Only once. I don't know if these things are related or not, just trying to give as much info as possible.
In case I do need to get under that triangular vent to clean things up, has anybody ever done that and if so, how do you get there?
Many thanks upfront.

2006 E-350
I have a 2006 e-350 HK sound system.
I had a blown speaker sound depending on radio station and volume
Later I found that My speaker was torn.
After I replaced the speaker( Desktop computer speaker - same size $0.00 cost)
sound was normal. No more blown sound.
Original speaker is $ 130.00 . I didn't want to spent that money for small speaker.

Copy below title and paste at seach
You can find that how to remove center(Triangular) grill.
I hope you have same problem like mine. Good luck!

Thanks! That was easy. I bought the original replacement part at the dealership for $50.00. I pried the panel off by pushing the little clips down and pulling the vent towards you, as stated in the thread. Two torques and a wire connector and re-install. About 20 minutes worth of work. Like I have a whole new sound system.
