Hi, does anyone know where I can find the drain plug of the front differential or how I can drain the oil ? It seems as if we have only found the filler plug. If anyone has any info on this that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check with your dealer, but I seem to have read that there is only one hole for draining and filling in models associated with the 722.9 transmission, and there is a replacement lubricant and draining pump combo equipment at the dealers -it can otherwise be done with a common boat servicing pump and funnel and there should be a sticky somewhere around.

It takes a special gear oil for the AWD, use the right one only.

I thought differential only exists for rear wheels - the front ones are taken care of at the transmission, so a transmission oil change would do the front diff as well...

I just did the rear diff oil change yesterday, have to tell you the car feels much more torquey at lower rpms, I used Mobil 1 75w-140
