Hi guys,
Just got my E500 Sports last year in christmas. Only one in LA with these options except Distronic & GPS. When I first got it, there was no cd changer and I called them few weeks ago, finally i got them installed it yesterday. I keep asking the salesmen for the GPS system, they said not available yet in LA. None of the benz here has GPS. It should be coming out soon.
My question is my friends saying that they are having problem with the GPS unit and software. Don't know if that is true or not.
Cause I want to install one, do you know anything about that?
Is that unit a DVD player also, we can play dvd movies?

I think you are referring to the Navigation or Command system when you say GPS. You will find several current threads here that should bring you up to date.
