how hard is it to install the e55 mufflers on an e500? Are the mufflers shapped different or are they the same?

100% direct bolt on.... Well cut and weld but it uses the factory hangers and looks/sounds great. If you're running the non-AMG rear bumper you will need to modify it to accept the tips. A few members have done this; any competent shop can install them for you.

yeah thats great! do you think the dealer would be able to do the job? and im thinking about putting on the e55 bumper, not sure yet. your car looks ridiculous i love it!

Any muffler shop should be able to install the e55 muffler. I am sure if you took it to the dealer, they'll charge you $$$$ just for the install.
