It's on the driver's of the engine (on top) towards the front of the engine. You will need to remove the manifold cover for access. There are 6 torex screws (I think) that hold the cover in place. Be very careful not to drop one of the screws down along side of the engine, . . .impossible to find if you do!

Sounds like that isn't just speculation, or how do you happen to know.

That comment may sound harsh but honestly if one cannot find the oil filter and is too lazy to search from the forum, perhaps it would be safer to leave the oil change to an expert.

Let's assume the OP is just new to the forum and MB but has experience servicing cars. Jimbo, welcome to the forum.

Yah, . . .well let's just say I didn't find out about dropping the manifold cover screws from a book. (only dropped one though) Had to pull the bottom enclosure panels & hunted for an hour to find it.
