Rear sun shade acting up

Rear sun shade acting up
2005 e 320. Rear sun shade works off and on. Lately i need to press the button twice to get it to go up and once to go down.. For the last week it wont do anything.... This afternoon I disconnected the main battery and reconnected and its back to its old tricks of pressing the button twice to get it to go up and once to get it to go down. Any thoughts?
