E320 CDI
E320 CDI oil capacity?
Did anyone notice the difference in capacity between the owner's manual and WIS? Which is right?

Our owners manual says 8 quarts (7.5 l)

In the 2006 owner's manual, it said 7.5L too. MB should recall the 2005 manuals!! However, it is still 0.2L more than what WIS said.

The prior diesel OM606 had a capacity of 7.4 qts. If I remember, the engine in the 05-06 E320 is somewhat similar in design, the block at least. Different head, etc...

2006 Mercedes-Benz E-320 CDI
lol, i was wondering the same thing just now. So a 2006 model takes 8 liters, every oil change. Same as a E430.
