multiconture seats
Hi All, This is my first post.
I have a very nice E-500 wagon with almost all of the great options:keyless go , best lights , power tailgate, nav , best radio etc. however it only has standard seats.
My question is where can I get the multi conture seats and what is involved with their installation? Are they really that much better ? Enough to make it worth while to do the swap ?

Had them on my '04... nice to feel the air bladders inflate & deflate, but a needless option for real life use. The seats themselves are pretty much the same otherwise.

it might be cheaper just to find a totalled car with multicontour seats and just install the whole thing. one of my blades got messed up and doesn't inflate as much with the dynamic feature. the seat has to be cut open, part replaced, then stitched back up by a professional shop.
like barry said, it is pretty needless in the end.
also there is two kinds of seats, the basic multicontour and then the ones with massage and dynamic function.

I'd have to disagree...the drive-dynamic MC seats in our CDI are fantastic, and I never drive the car without the DD on. Also, the available adjustments make the seats much more comfortable. Pretty disappointed that we weren't able to order MC seats on our GL...

I Upgraded the front seats on my 211 from the base no option seats to Heated/Vented/Multicontour/Massage/Drive Dynamic...They Are worth the investment!
