Wipers - what CAN be adjusted?

Wipers - what CAN be adjusted?
I'm curious what can (i.e. parameters) be adjusted with the wipers on my 08 E550?
Its been raining quite a lot lately in SoCal and I noticed that when the wipers are on, they leave a slight "streak" behind them that fairly quickly fades away. It is almost like you're wiping with Windex that you see a little streak that then evaporates before your eyes.
It isn't a huge deal. These are still some of the best wipers I've driven with (although I loved the "V" wipers on the old Benz's) but just curious if thats normal or not and if I should take it to the dealer to get them adjusted.
