I'm curious what can (i.e. parameters) be adjusted with the wipers on my 08 E550?

Its been raining quite a lot lately in SoCal and I noticed that when the wipers are on, they leave a slight "streak" behind them that fairly quickly fades away. It is almost like you're wiping with Windex that you see a little streak that then evaporates before your eyes.

It isn't a huge deal. These are still some of the best wipers I've driven with (although I loved the "V" wipers on the old Benz's) but just curious if thats normal or not and if I should take it to the dealer to get them adjusted.

can an indy shop do this, since i don't want to go to the dealer since mine is out of warranty???

Yes however to properly adjust angle, they will need to access WIS sheet and have adjustment tool 211589022100 on hand.
