Gears dont change quickly
I am getting a little frustrated with how long my car stays in 1st and 2nd gears. It tends to pull these gears for quite a bit even though I am not mashing the gas pedal. Is there anyway for me to get the car to change a little quicker? I tried the paddle shifters- they are useless in my opinion...
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mercedes Benz Throttle Reset
1. Turn the ignition key to the "on" position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for 5 seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (do not remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least five minutes for throttle reset and audible confirmation.

It also could be that it stays in first and second a little longer to warm the engine up faster. In the summers I'm in second gear before hitting the end of the street but as the weather gets cooler and cooler the car tends to stay in gear longer to rev the engine higher to produce heat and operate more efficiently.

Gonna try that reset too, the E350 is nice and fast, but the shifts seems downright slow compared to the much cheaper and less sporty cars in the driveway. Nothing like flicking the shifter right to upshift, and it shifts 2 seconds later.

If that doesn't work, you can take your car to the dealer or someone with an SDS and have the transmission relearn the clutch pressures/etc and this may fix your problem. Ideally this never needs to be done, but in some cases it can help shift problems.
Also - regarding the last step above, I don't ever recall hearing an "audible confirmation." Someone correct me if I am wrong.
