OEM Cross Drilled Sport Rotors on Standard Model

Looking to replace my stock solid rotors for stock (sport model oem) cross drilled rotors in the front. Has anyone accomplished this task? I have the part numbers thanks to konigstiger but am not sure if the rotors will fit or not as the cross drilled are supposed to be a thicker rotor. 2006 e350 elegance model.

Any help?

Any particular reason you are going for cross drilled rotors ?

I would like to keep oem quality but enhance the look. I have a set of aftermarket wheels that show off the rotors.

Review this link before you decide; I just picked one of several on the net.

I'm a baller on a budget so I painted the calipers red and got my crossed drilled rotors off ebay! I was going for the aesthetic look also. So here are a few pics!

I don't really trust rotors bought off of ebay. I was going to buy cross drilled rotors from the dealership for the sport model. That way I know they are oem quality. I think the horror stories of most cross drilled rotors are from using them at the track where the rotors are undersized and extremely over driven. Also thinking zimmerman but don't know much about them.

i'd stick with OE on the rotors as well. the 500 rotors are drilled but idk if you need the bigger caliper since those come with a 4 piston caliper up front.

EDIT: our CL500 has crossed drilled rotors. also the 350/550 sport models had cross drilled as well. you should see if any of those can fit. i'm pretty sure it would be fine, the size difference isn't that big. i mean, e55 rotors wouldn't work, those are just huge.

Thanks gaazmon. I definitely want to stick with oe rotors but no one seems to know if the sport rotors will fit. I think what I will do is just measure the diameter and thickness of the stock rotor on my car and then go to the dealership and ask to see the sport rotors and go from there.

i remember seeing an 08 e350 with amg sport package at the building next door of my work building. it didn't have the fancy "brembo" style calipers that say Mercedes Benz on them that the E350/550 RWD do, but it DID have cross drilled rotors. i thought it was odd that i didn't have the nice calipers, but THEN noticed it was 4matic. i also remember seeing someones e550 4matic here and that also had drilled rotors.
