Hello everyone, im new here,
i bought my 2007 E350 sport a few months ago. i love it for the gas mileage and i needed a vehicle that was larger than say the C class or 3 series bmw.
im in the Army (infantry) and i was injured in iraq
lost my left foot below my knee to two anti-tank grenades.
im out in San Diego now doing physical therapy but heres some photos of the whip!....

heres something funny too..... i placed these stickers on the back of my prosthetic...
i no longer have the "f*ck" part on there i took it off and put a US ARMY nametape in its place, too many kids trying to read what it said.. lol
yea thats real carbon fiber! and titanium. thank you tax payers

First of all, thanks for your service.....I have the same model and year, love the power and gas mileage, better than my last 1989 W124 (300E)

thank you, i appreciate your support man. i love your car too, i was going to get white with pano roof.... but...
black looks sooo sexy.
so far i had all the windows tinted even the driver and passenger to 20% all around.
ive been pulled over once and got let go because i pulled some bull **** *** excuse about how i have a skin graft on my whole right calf and i can't get sun on it, and he ate it up like a chump. lol he let me go.
i think the cop felt bad like... this guy lost his limb and burnt up his right calf ima let him slide. lol

Way to go soldier! I never thought about the skin graft excuse but will tell the cop about my cornia. Might as well get your moneys worth. San Diego to LA, there are more German cars than American or even J cars, it seems. I wonder why I waited so long.
So far I did like you did and went with the tint 5% rear and 25% front. Swapped rims for AMG's and yes, black is sexy. Good luck with your purchse.

onthewall01 - yea i have 3 legs total so far, the one in the picture is actually the oldest one i have, and its my "beater" leg, even though it costs as much as a used 07 E350.
the other two newer ones i have now are pretty bad ***. and they run up a little more than what an 07 e350 costs if you believe it!

I don't think i want to do any mods, i was THIS CLOSE to biting the bullet and getting a REMUS EXHAUST for it.
but im not doing it anymore.
i don't think this car is worth it for mods for me, its going to be my daily driver for a couple years. the only thing i want to do is add the rear trunk lip spoiler.
The reason i don't want to add anything is because this summer im going to get my hands on a SLK55 AMG.
First things first though, im using the CAL VET home loan to buy my house and im almost done with that. once im settled in my home im going to get that SLK
Also the big reason i bought this vehicle is because of the Safety, i know its not the safest car in the world, but its pretty damn close, with the PRE SAFE crap and ESP ABS and all the other goodies. I thought, hey i made it home from iraq safe, i dont want to get in an accident and lose my life in my own country!

I cannot express how much i appreciate your guys' support. it makes our jobs worth it.
well heres some pictures i took with my iPhone while we were getting my friends vehicle smogged. 20% tint all around.
I don't have license plates yet, because im waiting for my Purple Heart License Plates.
And the stickers are two grenades on each lower side and on the top center it says "U.S. ARMY (25th I.D. Patch) INFANTRY" which ill take off all the stickers when i get my purple heart plates.
