Paging *Benzoid*
Hi,
I have the ticking sound on my E500 and I'm almost positive it's the motor mounts. I searched for posts on the subject and found that you were one of the ones in the LA area that had it fixed.
I actually took my car to MB of South Bay today to have the mounts replaced but the sound is still there. Which dealer did you go to that actually did it right?
And if others in the LA area had their motor mounts replaced, please chime in!

maybe it isn't the "ticking noise" all MB engines have a slight ticking sound. to see if you really do have it what you do is, turn on the engine, open the hood, tell someone to step on the gas a little. if you see the engine shake to the right and to the left a lot then you have it, a slight nudge or nothing means you don't. i would test up to 3 rpms.
