Seat warmer issue

Hello all. My daughter switched on the passenger seat warmer today, and the three LED's just blinked.....the same happend when I tried the drivers side. Is this a low voltage warning? Its been cold, and the car has seen maybe 50 miles in the last two months...any suggestions? Does it need a good highway trip? Battery service maybe....no sure, appreciate any advice.

I cannot say for sure but I had a stage1 shutdown of convenience features after driving very short distances over several weeks. I tried the seat warmers while the FSS displayed the shutdown message. Got the same thing, blinking LED's on seat warmer display. I can imagine that the seat warmers are a pretty big drain. I bet that it will disappear if and when the battery is in a better state of charge.

i've expirenced that a few times when after starting the car i immediately turned the seat heaters on, each time the car had been sitting and not driven for a day or more in cold temps. so i turned the seat heater off and a minute later it worked fine.

I drove around quite a bit today and the problem went away...it must be from not being on the road and the cold...

Yes - blinking lights indicate it has shut off that circuit to preserve power due to low voltage.
