2005 E500 rough idle and stall but no codes
Shop says no codes found, so they are going to drive it with the computer connected to see what is going on. Any suggestions?
Shop claims that the stall is likely caused by the crank position sensor, but that the rough idle isn't.

I don't know if any codes were ever found, but they replaced the crank position sensor. They also changed my torque strut bushings. These were covered under my MBP from Mercury.
They also recommended a brake job for $615. They claim I only have a 1000 miles left on my brakes (car has 56k miles). $615 seems ok for a dealer--maybe a bit high.
