05 CDI Engine Mounts
126,000 original mounts. I have oil seeping from the driver side mount. I ordered all new mounts from the Benz dealer. I plan on installing them next week and I will post a DIY.

Using Benz Procedure
My Star Service DVD has the detailed AR22.10-P-1260T procedure and I will be using part of it.

Mounts DIY
Well, I got under the car and with just a floor jack, the job looked a little too difficult, so I took it to the dealer. He said the mounts were squished down from wear. He did the job from under a lift and they had a tool that made it easier to get the mounts out. Labor was around 4 hours for everything. I also had a leak in a seal that goes from the charge air distribution pipe to the mixing chamber. Crankcase oil vapors had been escaping and dripping down the pipe for a long time. He replaced the seal between the pipe and the mixing chamber. My wife's 05 CDI with 90,000 had no leak. As you stand in front of the engine, the charge air distribution pipe is under the cover on the right side. It should be a silver color with no residue on it. On balance, I am glad I let the dealer do this job.
