$300 shipped. Please PM if interested.

I upgraded my steering wheel with a DCT steering wheel (forum sponsor). Ivan, DCT owner, was very nice. The upper wood section had a slight crack in it. He told me he would repair it for me. It looks as if he replaced both wood sections of the steering wheel. You can see the wheel still wrapped in the plastic protective cover.

I am not a customer but I do have a general question. I have an aftermarket wood wheel that may or may not be an OEM piece. I bought it in "perfect condition" on e- bay which meant that the crack in the clear coating was my imagination. Nevertheless, it has grown over several years. Has anyone tried a solvent to chemically weld this stuff back together. It is on the back so cosmetically it is not a problem. Just wondering if it is like a winshield and will continue to spider. Hypodermic + MEK or Carbon Tet or Acetone or???
