Comand MP3 CD always returns to first folder
I have what seems like a bug while using MP3 CDs in the command HU. (2006 w211).
When I turn off the car the system attempts to remember what song I was listening to and start the music on that same song. However with an MP3 CD the system often returns me to the wrong song. (by taking me to the first folder)
For example if I'm listening to folder 2 song 3 and turn off the car, return back 30 min later, when I start the car again the Comand system begins playing folder 1 song 3.
Can anyone reproduce this error? Or confirm this has been fired in newer model year cars?

I can't explain why, and if you think about it, this may not make much sense, but try burning another MP3 CD using a different brand of blank CD. I've had a few different quirks arise while using several brands of blanks.

Do you have the latest software on the COMAND that was released in late 2006? This addressed many MP3 playback issues.
Press SERV and look at the background image. If you only see an E-Class, you have old software. If you see an E-Class on the left and a CLS on the right, you have current software.
