Keyless-go issue, about to DIY fix, but need to ask.....
So my driver side door handle keyless switch seems to be broken on my 2003 E500. The lock button on the handle works but when i go to pull it, nothing happens. All 3 other keyless opening works fine.
Searching through the forums it's definitely the keyless-go door handle that needs to be changed but my question is, after changing the door handle does the car need re-programming? Any help would be greatly appreciated~!

thats what i thought, but somewhere during my research online, it was mentioned that it MAY need reprogramming. just wanted to double check with the experts!

The handle should activate the modules to recognize the key. If not, then you'd need to put it on Star and see what's going on. KG is a pretty complex system. I have a detailed tech training file for it, pm me if you want it (I think it's too big to upload on my post; won't let me upload it)
