need rims
i have 2006 e350 with soports package with the 18 inch staggered rims on it, the dealer says all 4 are bent and will cost me about 500 to starighten them, i was wonddering if any good place to get some nice replicas or if any body has any rims for sale , i would love to get the 5 star amg ones

I have an identical car and setup that I put AMG replicas on. There are a few very nice AMG 5 spoke choices on Ebay. Just search "AMG Rims". One company OE was in Sarasota FL, who makes the rims there in FL. They have, I think the closest replica with gunmetal and polished aluminum surfaces.
I chose a local distributor OEM, who you will also find on Ebay. I chose the set you see based on design and since I would not have to risk shipping cross country. All 4 cost me less than $600 with the tax. I also got $500 for my Ronal common 10 spokes, and kept my same tires. I paid a local tire dealer to unmount, remount and balance for $100. All together, it was a $200 swap to get the sport look I was looking for.
As for the horror stories of going with replicas, I figure straight rims are straight rims, whether they were made in Florida, China or Poland. These rims have already survived one pot-hole incident severe enough to fail a front Conti with no bend or crack. Even though I love this car and how it drives, and I probably always will, it is not sacred and will be worth squat in 4-5 years, just like any other car.

I would just straighten your own rims then......any time you take a chance with buying used rims you could end up with one or more that will need straightening.

I have a set of the 10 twin spoke sport wheels, 18" staggered from '08 E350. Wheels are near perfect, Conti tires less than 700 miles on them. Located in Northern California.
