Is this a good deal ?
I saw at a local non-MB dealership here;
2007 E350 with Sport & AMG package (2 tone interior, beige seats, 5 spoke AMG wheels (love those)), panoramic roof, xenons, nav with 21k miles for $26,000/-
what are your thoughts ?
It was lease end return & I did notice in carfax, the differential seal was changed by MB ( 2 months ago) due to leak - car in warranty till sep'10

I think its a good deal considering the low miles and all the goodies (nav, xenons, AMG wheels). Best bet is to check it out and see it in person.
Dings, dents and scratches all over would make me think twice.

You can decide for youself if you think this is a good deal... this is what the dealers are paying at the auction for 2007 E350 from 2/26 - 4/8, nationwide. You can't see the options and locations, but you get a feel for what they're buying them for... plus they pay a $200 buyers fee and possibly $200 for transportation and perhaps a small fee to inspect the chassis for prior damage, so add at least $200 to those numbers and that's their cost. They'll try to make at least $2K profit on the car. I would suspect the AMG package may be somewhat rare... I think if you like the car and it's in good shape, it's a pretty decent price... it's used, so negotiate a lower price and buy it! I got my 08' E350 4MATIC with two tone leather sport interior and love it. Wasn't looking for a black car (wanted platinum silver), but the interior just pops... so it sold me on that car... and I love it! (sorry for the formatting)

Definitely a great deal. Kind of hard to compare Auction prices, as a lot of Auction cars are Dealer rejects (not in all cases), and I'd rather have a car that hasn't gone through the Auction process (i.e, a simple Lease return to the Dealer sits better with me), and mainly, unless you have access, you'll never get those deals on your own. Either way, it's always very helpful to see what Dealers are paying, as you know how much is fair for you to pay, and how much is a rip off.
Main thing about the Car you're looking at, is, those years were very rare to have AMG Packages, and with the setup, it sounds like a Key To The Cure Edition, so you get some rare Options (that most E Owners don't opt for), and a unique interior. Also, the Mileage is very low.
