COMMAND PROBLEM - "NO PHONE", W211, E320, 2004 model
Hi, I have developed a problem. I was playing around with the bluetooth application, when all of a sudden my phone (Nokia 6310i in the cradle of the armrest console ) stopped working in the system. A message came up "NO PHONE" - seems like the system has removed the phone application on its own. The bluetooth option button in the system display has also disappeared. The NAV unit applcation has developed an intermittent fault, sometimes the map is displayed and other times it comes up with a black screen. The radio and CD / DVD applications are working fine, except only the left hand side speakers are working. The right hand side ones have stopped working. I cannot enter any destination on the NAV unit either.
I have tried - removing the fuse for the command head unit overnight, hoping the system will reset. I have also removed the fuse in the boot for the NAV processor for an hour, hoping that may reset and sort out the problem - however, didn't work either.
I am stuck, no phone application, right hand side speakers not working and the map display has an intermittent fault, sometimes works, sometimes just displays a black screen - HELP, any advise. How do I get into the engineers program, or what should I do? Does in need to be reset by the dealer, or is the command unit now broken all together - all was working perfectly until I activated the bluetooth application?

Looks like the phone control unit got confused and recovered from a power off reset.
Pulling off the fuse could have been easier, also verifies which control unit exactly causes the issue. Hopefully it won't come back.
