I just purchased my 2003 E500 this week and want to proactively replace my Valeo radiator with a Behr unit. Any recommendation of where to find the Behr at a good price? I plan to have the transmission fluid and filter changed after the radiator replacement.

That radiator is not for an E500. You want part number A 211 500 31 02.

The factory radiator is made by Valeo, not Behr. You can check with purems.com for the parts you need, they've got everything.

Its not letting me edit posts. I mentioned that when u flush ur transfer, see if there is any coolant mix with the ATF. If not ur fine. BC it is not a cheap job, unless u change it urself
