Newbie, WTB, E350 I need advice

I am looking to buy an E350 or 320, is there any major reasons why to stay away from any of these years....2006, 2007, 2008?? I want low miles (below 20k) if possible. Also, which options should I not do without?? The 320's I see are unseemingly high priced vs the gassers.
I've had MB before, a looong time ago, a new 83 300D(D is for Dog) and an 87 300SEL both very good rides. Wife drives a CLK320 and loves it...now its my turn..

I recommend you to search in the W211 forum instead, this is the W212 forum. The W212 came out as 2010 models.

Good luck!

idk why 320's would be priced higher since they stopped in 06 or 07 if i am correct...but all the issues that people complain about in the pre-facelift models have gotten better. if it were me buying a new car, id look for a 350 or even 550 for the power. Good luck though

Go w/ the 07 or 08 w/ warranty. You'll need it. Drive the car a lot before warranty expires.

SZMB, Thanks, does that imply the E350 may be a trouble prone car? very interesting indeed. Thanks again

The 07's onward are generally very dependable cars. I had an '04...ugh... a totally different animal.

Since he's seeing 320s that are 06-08s, he's seeing the Diesel model, which have held their prices much better on the used market (much to my disappointment since I've been waiting for them to drop into my range).

I think E350 from 07-09 is a very good choice all depends on your budget.
350 has more power and 07-09 also trouble-less. Dont buy W212 yet, first year car you never know. Same as for W211, dont buy the 2003 or even 04, they are more problematic.
