UHI phone module in an US car?
Hi guys,
I was wondering if it's possible to use a European phone module (UHI) in our US cars. Maybe this will enable the phone book download into the Euro COMAND?

MY '05 US CLK 500
This is a good question! I am close to being able to answer you - but for the moment I cannot.
Just purchased a used UHI unit for my US CLK MY05 and swapped it with the MHI module (working!) in there. Unfortunately it isn't recognized by the SDS now and my EURO comand keeps showing 'The telephone is being activated - please wait'.
For the moment I am stuck - is the UHI module defective or am I missing something else? Restarting the optical ring didn't help.
