E500 Suspension Update Service Bulletin
I have noticed a cracking or clunking sound from the front end when turning the wheel pulling out of my driveway which is on a slight incline to the road. I called my service advisor who indicated that this is not a safety issue, but that there is a suspension "update" that they will be doing that should correct the problem. I will be taking the car on Wednesday and will try to get a service bulletin number if I can.
I will keep you posted.
Jeff

I'm interested in what "update" means...
Could this mean a simple reprogramming of the airmatic setup or redesigning and replacing bladder components of the suspension?
Interesting information... keep us posted.

I believe it was a control arm assembly but I will let you know as they ordered parts which are not yet in.

The ABC did have some bugs in the beginning, but they should all be worked out by now.
