We have different cars but I use the puck too. I would try the phone pairing procedure again to see if that helps. I have had other problems but not what you are describing.

FYI, hopefully some of it proves useful to you.

I'm using a "puck with tail" in my 2004 S55. I had to get the phone "turned on" by MB via SDS, without that no phone at all. I've never lost used of the steering wheel controls. After the initial manual pairing, the car and phone automatically pair just fine about 99% of the time. Very rarely there is a failure to pair, it could easily be my crappy phone (treo 755P)

The car always attempts to download the phone book from the phone and unfortunately also always fails. i think that's a known limitation, but I can't find the post that makes me think so.

Another problem I have is my phone needs to be in "phone mode", not in web browser or email, etc, or the car will not make outgoing calls. It tries, but the connection does not happen. I do not have that problem with incoming calls.

1. it works fine
2. the voice comes through speakers
3. the phone give me the option to use either
A. MB phone
B. iPhone
C. Speaker phone.
