ETA for ordering a 2004?
Id like to get the AMG body kit and of course beloved Command.. worth the wait if its only until Septermber or so.. has anyone gotten a quote on a timeframe? Or at least start of production?

It has been my experience that the dealers in Canada will give you more accurate information as to new model availability- which just happens to be identical to that for the US. I believe MB Canada is much less secretive in passing information on to their dealers than is MBUSA which is super paranoid about not getting a chance to clear out their 2003 inventory before the 2004 models start showing up. It is probably a consequence of MBUSA having larger stockpiles of current year models to dispose of than MBCanada has.

AMG Body Kit?
Brav --- What's this about the AMG body kit? I'm waiting for a 2004 as well. I know the Sport Package has a few slightly restyled pieces --- have you heard something about an E55 look on a smaller-engined car for 2004? I love the E55's front apron, and I think it's available on E320/E500 models outside of the U.S. That would make my day!

Supposedly, AMG body kit will be availabe when AMG (55) car will be, for US spec cars. Thats why it exists, but not here- to maintain exclusivity and not ruin it for the E55 guys that have to wait. I have heard both that the kit will be avail '04, and also simply whenever AMG car is available. If I have to wait 3 months for a June build, might as well wait 4 months to get an 04 august build (hope I can!!!)
